So I forgot my debit card at home and I don’t have cash. I don’t have cash because I spent my emergency cash. I spent my emergency cash on a spicy chicken breast from Popeyes. I was hungry. It was so gooood. I never replaced the cash.
But, okay, that’s fine. Friend brings me cash. It’s all good. I get to driving home. Gotta cross the Causeway Bridge. It’s a 24 mile long bridge over Lake Pontratrain. I’m a few miles in when this happens:
Now I’m sitting here waiting on help. This is the stupid ass day I’ve had.
It started off fucked up to begin with. There was an issue at work that happened where I believe a coworker did something really shady in order to CYA herself. I asked her about it, but then I thought, what’s the point? I’m expending energy on you and you nor this problem is worth it.
I made sure to handle her professionally and I will make sure to keep my distance from now on.
What shady workplace people problems have you had to deal with?
I’m at crossover 5 if anyone is out here…..
Officer L. Of the Causeway Police came and changed my tire!
He had me up and running in no time. I’m so grateful to him. He made sure that I was okay, changed my tire, talked with me about the bridge while we were waiting to refill my tire with air, and really made me feel safe.
This was a good ending to a crappy day…
